First Step

We start by building Euro Pallets - 3d model using Blender, to get to know it better and to be familiar with Virtual Objects and environments. From modeling, materials, lighting, position, and scaling, to animation. We and in implementing the project in XR showroom using Oculus. In this experiment, we get knowledge about how to deal with XR tools and apps.

24 hrs Challenge
Extended reality (XR) is a term referring to all real-and-virtual combined environments and human-machine interactions generated by computer technology and wearables.
where to start/Ideation?
From this definition, I asked myself how would be the future of websites especially portfolio websites, this 2d flat thing? how can I show my work to XR users in an innovative and interactive way?. Maybe it will be like a Shop, Showroom, Museum, Studio… OK, let's put my logos on an animated minimal white box, Posters will be on the wall as if they are in. a museum. Minimalism is my path, and I will play with lights.
Modeling
I started modeling the Architecture where the walls are not straight or linear, even the angle wasn't 90 deg. everything was unfamiliar since we have the freedom to imagine, to break the rules.

Using Blender, I Model the showroom and the objects. Then I import them to Unity application, here I start playing with the composition, material, and light… and we test them with help from Mathias Jüsche, Susanne Raabe. It was a challenging day, starting at 9:00 and ending at 22:00.

Presentation Day
My presentation started with a welcome to my XRfolio showroom. I make a tour for my friends, explaining to them the process and the aim of this project. And let them interact and go around the rooms having fun, seeing my work from a new perspective.

The End
It was an outstanding experience with awesome friends under the supervision of the striking, patient teachers; Mathias Jüsche and Susanne Raabe.
