For the final project, I decided to explore the pixels within jpeg and I chose a set of well-known portraits to extract the data from them. These includes the paintings of Van Gogh, The girl with the pearl earring and Venus portrait.

In this portrait, I learnt how to extract the pixels within an image and turned them to spheres in 3d space. Depending on the intensity of black, the difference in Grayscale pixels helps to produce depth and facial characteristics.

In this portrait „The girl with pearl earring“ by Johannes vermeer, I learnt how to interact with the x-axis and y-axis through my mouse pointer. Intensity in black pixels defines the resizing of circle once you move the pointer from one direction to opposite one.

These pixel on the Van gogh portrait starts to reveal them slowly and gives a smudge effect to original artwork

Last but not the least, The Birth of Venus by Sandro botticelli. Giving the portrait pixels to change their space from 2d medium to 3d by interacting with the position of mouse pointer.
