Exploring the virtual space and Ideation

After having a great tour around the Bernburg campus, We gathered to gain experience with the VR equipment and the world of virtual reality itself. Then for the next step, we started to learn the basics of Blender 3D and Unity engine.
Learning Blender and Unity

While learning the programs, we tried to export our experimental 3D objects into a VR gallery which, needless to say, is fascinating to see your creation in front of you and be able to walk around it.
Final result

The outcome of my project was a space simulating the atmosphere described in the mentioned book and also giving the audience a choice to stay in either the „safe zone“, which is watched by countless cameras, or get out to stay in the horrific dark space outside the room which represents the message from the book.
The most challenging part of the project was encouraging people to stay inside the room when there was no real collision. This challenge was solved by creating a rather unfriendly environment outside the room.
