Discovering the islands
The journey to the islands began with creating a (mind)map of what to expect. Fond childhood memories, special places and village traditions fill the islands with life.
I supplemented the map with sketches in watercolor to get a more accurate picture of the journey, and finally I set off into the world of Procreate and piece by piece the islands came to life.

A home for all your thoughts
Once on the islands, I found all the things that mean home to me and captured them in the form of an illustration.
The image is also perfect as the cover of a notebook and together with the island stickers I can take my home with me everywhere.
