Ideation Process
During the ideation process, I thought about the general concept of „home“ and what it meant to me. First, I thought about my hometown, Istanbul, and the things that reminded me of home: objects, senses, being... Than I started thinking about the abstract feeling of home. And my final idea was to make something about the things that made us feel like home.
Sketches&Different Techniques
My creative process started with making sketches. I tried to visualize all the things that came to mind without really thinking about them and look back at them again. At the same time, I tried to experiment with analog drawing techniques like guache and watercolor. Since digital drawing is my comfort zone, it was very fulfilling to try out new ways.
