Logline
A homegrown tomato experiences the horrors of being cooked by an eccentric chef.
Storyline
A passionate chef impresses the tomatoes of his window plantation with a flirty approach finding themselves falling victim to his mad exploitation, while some of the other tomatoes realize the horrific situation, a dramatic turn of events takes place
Note of Intention
Colonialism, indigenous exploitation, and ethnic massacres; are all concepts that we think are from the past. Yet, unfortunately, they still thrive in our contemporary society.
In the story of “PLUCK”, my interest relies on representing metaphorically the exploitations of man by other cultures, by depicting cooking a tomato sauce pasta graphically and indulgently. It is emphasized by giving the food an emotional characteristic as it experiences the horrors of being cooked by an eccentric chef.
