Concept Idea
The main idea of my project was to create an immersive 360-degree cinematic space inspired by the captivating scenes of The Grand Budapest Hotel. By selecting and recreating iconic (but beginner level Blender & Unity) moments from the film, I wanted to transport the viewer into the quirky world of the film.
I tried to capture the unique aesthetic and charm of the film by using some recognisable details and vivid (pink-red) colours that define its visual storytelling. This interactive experience not only pays a tribute to the film, but also invites the user to engage with the narrative in a new and dynamic way.
I chose the storage room with the dessert boxes.
Getting Started with Software
Since it was an express course to understand how these softwares work, as first steps we did some (not) easy exercises in Blender to understand the initial functionality of the program. We created our own cardboards with our names, coffee set and pumpkins 🎃.

Getting Started with an Individual Project
So for the individual project I had to create and visualise several shapes and concepts in Blender: walls of the room, boxes (mountain of boxes), portraits, lamp, key, wall decorations, rolling door. In Unity I added some animations for the falling boxes and the flying key, like in the Harry Potter movies.
