Project 1: 3D Printed Fabric

Inspired by an existing 3D print pattern, I rebuilt it parametrically in Grasshopper. This pattern features male and female units that interlock, allowing for secure and flexible connections. By creating a large-scale version, I aimed to understand how the units combine and function. This project celebrates the elegance of traditional fabric patterns and the functionality of modular design, pushing the boundaries of 3D printing and inspiring creativity in various fields.

Project 2: Voronoi Pavillion

Introduction:

The Voronoi Pavilion is a testament to the harmonious integration of nature's intrinsic geometry and innovative architectural design. Drawing inspiration from the Voronoi pattern, which naturally occurs in various biological and physical systems, this pavilion encapsulates the beauty of organic forms through advanced computational techniques.

Concept and Inspiration:

At its core, the Voronoi Pavilion reflects the elegant complexity of nature's design principles. The Voronoi pattern, often seen in natural phenomena such as cellular structures, leaf veins, serves as the foundation for the pavilion's structure. By leveraging Grasshopper's computational power, I have translated this organic pattern into a dynamic architectural form that can change according to number sliders.
