I started playing around in the program and ended up with a square. As with the aggregates task, I wanted to work with the basic shape and move it.
I then wanted to combine the two tasks and applied the same principle again with a triangle.
My concept was to create more complex objects with simple shapes.
Once I had my concept, I took a step back and did analog exercises.
I made a few sketches to find out where and how I wanted to make connections. To find out how the individual parts should fit together, I built the shapes out of cardboard and tried them out until I liked the connection.

I had created several variations of the square design and cut them out with the laser cutter to find out which one I liked best. In the end, I decided on two designs for the square. I didn't create any other variations for the triangle and I am also most happy with this design.

In the final construction, I tried to create a contrast in each case. The square has a more open design, with which I have built a more compact and closed object. With the triangle, which has a rather tighter design, it is only possible to build an open object.
