In 2020 we all experienced several unexpected changes. Due to the pandemic caused by the virus COVID-19, supermarkets became ist hotspots for, and their customers went through multiple problems while shopping.
In addition, we still face the long existing problems of the sustainibility of our food consumption.
With MODUMA, we want to change this. Our concept introduces small, unexpensive changes , that make supermarkets safer and more sustainable.
Our redesigns are adaptable to every existing supermarket and easy to implement. Every market can choose what parts to use. This property shaped the illustration style: isometric forms are easy to understand and visualize the modularity of our system.
We also made mock ups to give the viewer a taste of what our designs could look like in real life.
To explain our final outcome, we produced a short information video. The animations were made in keynote, and we also did some post production in PremierePro.
