Process
At the beginning, there were some challenges in creating the dodecahedron in Rhino3D due to its complex geometry requiring precise modeling. Once the model was completed, I unfolded it to create a flat template, carefully marking the fold and cut lines. Additionally, I added glue tabs to facilitate assembly and ensure stability.

Conclusion
While working on my geometric paper sculpture – a dodecahedron with delicate cut-out patterns – I learned a lot about creative work with materials. One of the most important lessons was how valuable it is to experiment. Only by trying out different techniques could I discover how to cut the fine patterns properly while keeping the structure stable.
I also realized how important it is to be careful, especially when cutting. If you remove too much paper or cut in the wrong place, the whole form can become unstable. This might cause the faces to bend or the entire shape to fall apart. That’s why patience and precision are essential when working with such detailed designs.
Overall, I’ve learned that making mistakes is part of the learning process. By experimenting, you not only find better solutions but also learn a lot about the materials, the tools, and your own creative process.
