My Contribution

For my contribution, I chose to include my sketchbook, a personal and evolving record of my thoughts, ideas, and visual experiments. It contains notes, drawings, reflections, and creative processes from my time at the HfG Dessau. I consider the sketchbook a mirror of the present moment — a way to communicate to the future how we think, design, and dream today.

Why a Sketchbook?

The sketchbook is an honest and unfiltered look into the designer’s mind. Unlike final products, it captures the raw thinking process — the doubts, the ideas that never made it, and the spontaneous sparks of creativity. By contributing this, I want to share a part of myself and my design process with whoever opens the capsule in 2125.

Conclusion

This short project offered a meaningful opportunity to think beyond the present moment — to reflect on our past, engage with the now, and imagine the future. The act of contributing to a time capsule made the abstract idea of legacy feel tangible and personal.

I would like to sincerely thank Prof. Severin Wucher for guiding us through this reflective journey and for creating a space where ideas, memories, and imagination could meet. His thoughtful input during the discussions helped deepen my perspective on design and time.
