Didactical Design

Knowledge is usually expressed in the way we we act, mostly unconsciously. Everything we have created as humans are artifacts of our knowledge. They are visible and tangible things or processes that have developed over time. They are results of our actions and, depending on the depth of our knowledge, are anchored in our consciousness. If we want to share our knowledge or transmit it to other people, we often face the challenge that we first have to understand what we know ourselves … A cycle of action and reflection begins. In the studio class we will explore how design can help to accompany this cycle and promote the process of understanding and learning.
