ELEMENTS Starburst

The concept of “Elements” is based on a theoretically infinitely expandable interlocking system, in which each component follows the same or a very similar design principle. The focus was not only on the technical functionality of the individual components, but also on the way they connect and interact through their contours, structures, and cutouts. As the project was developed alongside a parallel project on biomass production within the “Material & Technology” course, the elements also needed to relate to the developed Bioplastic and explore the possibilities of this material within the modular system.
