NEELA_THIRUKKAI (Blue MantaRay)

The term Neela_Thirukkai is derived from an ancient script which means BlueMantaRay. The chair is a piece of art and also functional and the shape resembles a MantaRay in all its glory. This project shows the development process of chair design. The goal is to 3D print the Chair by collaborating with BLB Industries(Swedish manufacturer of large scale 3D printers). The basic form was arrived analyzing various form factors from previous gen lawnchairs and from basic ergonomic values.
