Healthy Design Feel safe and secure

In this Project I designed a Packaging for the Treatment of PDSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder)

Feel safe and secure

PTSD (Post traumatic Stress Disorder)

In this mental illness the Fear structures are activated by key stimuli as facts, feelings and overraction. Pailful memories of a traumtic event are most of the time connected with the illness

Key stimuli are:

burdensome dreams or nightmares, fears and avoidance behaviour, emotional state of solidification,

Inability to relax, sleep disorders, difficulties in concentration and memory,

Frightfulness and excitability

Treatment

Medicament plays an adjuvant role as an antidepressant and you have to take it 3 Times with an empty stomach. The Therapeutic treatment is more important

Treatment: Patient asked to be aware of the most stressful trauma memory with all the details. He is instructed to imagine the event in all sense qualities (see, hear, smell, taste, feel).

The patient responds in presence: I feel, see

At times of passage, the patient should include more details about external and internal stimuli such as thoughts physiological reactions and feared the consequences.

Therapist pays attention to the fear subsides at the end of the therapy (breathing techniques)

Session of the therapy is recorded on tape and patient must listen to the situation daily (the traumatic event)

Packaging

The concept of my packaging is to bring Color in your life. The idea of safety plays an important role that's why the brand name is Shelter.

With my packaging the Target Group feels clearly informed and comfortable, Moreover, it is more personal with Handcrafted elements such as a simple artwork.

The fear of stigmatization is very real for people with Mental illness. That's why it was very important to my taste, packaging doesn't look like a typical Medicament for people with a mental illness

Instructions and Risks

Unfortunately, there are always a lot of risks when taking psychotics

Possible side effects: nausea, weight gain, constipation or diarrhea, drowsiness and sexual problems.

Side effects are especially possible at the beginning of the treatment. About half of all patients report temporary minor, side effects in the first four to six weeks. For 3 out of 100 patients, the side effects are so stressful that the treatment must be stopped.

Life problems, the possibility. have contributed to the development of depression (stress in the profession or in the partnership),

After the end of the treatment with the antidepressant, there may be a relapse more often than with a psychotherapeutic treatment.
