SYNOPSIS

Design a dramatic visual identity of a theater play (Poster, Ticket, Billboard and building banners).

BACKGROUND STORY

There is no good story without drama, and there is no drama without a good conflict and no good conflict without opposite ends finding each other and crashing!.

In this Short Project, you will learn the foundational aspects of drama, why they matter so much, and design with and for them.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

You will design the visual identity of a Theater play which will be given to you on the first day, including Poster, Billboard, Tickets, Program, and Banners hanging on a Theater building. Using type and image as your primary design elements, you will show a theater play's most significant and dramatic moment in a compelling way.

1. Drama Queen Project Introduction:

Flight plan, Method, Goals Setting, Define mutual expectations, Project Delivery Dates, Rules, and Questions

2. So Dramatic. The elements of drama.

3. Other Design Principles that we normally don't talk about.

4. Design Semiotics.

5. What We Talk About When We Talk About Type and Image Love.

+ Refreshing Design discussions.
