Under the leaf roof

Imagine you are outside walking in the sun and it's incredible hot. What could be the best shelter than a being under a tree. Under the leaf roof describes a vest, which accompanies you outside during your every day adventure. The integrated solar panels outside of the vest produce electricity, that can be used for different functions. The inside layer of the vest can detect your body temperature to adapt to a comfortable climate by heating or cooling.

Technique & Realisation

After I sewed almost over 200 leaves I fixed them with the sewing machine and partially by hand outside on the vest. The inside layer I sewed the microscopic structure of a leaf with a red thread with the machine too.

The green and red colour symbolizes the complementary contrast of the microscopic and macroscopic view combined in a vest.
