Synopsis Take One Pill is a short experimental sci-fi drama exploring memory, choice, and the fragility of human experience. A protagonist awakens in a sterile white room, faced with three glowing pills — Love, Wealth, and Fame — and an emergency pill that promises erasure. Choosing Love, they are thrust into fragmented memories of childhood, intimacy, loss, and grief. When the pain becomes unbearable, they take the emergency pill, erasing everything and awakening once more in the same white room — pure, blank, and ready to begin again. Through abstract imagery and symbolic repetition, the film questions the price of desire, the inevitability of loss, and whether, given the chance, we would choose to feel it all again.
With deep gratitude to Prof. Rochus Hartmann, Mirko Muhshoff, Christopher Rodrigo de la Torre, and Tannaz Balazadeh for their invaluable help in bringing this project to life.
