In seiner Funktionalität auf die Lehre in gestalterischen Studiengängen zugeschnitten... Schnittstelle für die moderne Lehre
As designers, our work has a more profound impact on the world than we realise. It has been usually linked to the production and consumption of products, goods and services, and with all the consequences that such production and consumption has had on society and on the environment.
However, we can also use our work, our knowledge, and our skills as tools for positive change and to help create a better world.
In this Elective Module (2D - Communication, Information, Orientation), we will understand the basic concepts of advertising, discover the difference between basic human needs and desires, and apply the main principles of social marketing, to design a creative communication strategy for a social project of your choice.
For our final project, students will define topics of interest (social problematics, public health issues, environmental matters, etc.), will do research to better understand the problems, and will seek creative ways to use our design and communication skills to help raise awareness, engagement, and even bring a solution to them.
