Applying to college is often quite cumbersome and frustrating. Why is that? Outdated software, complex legal frameworks, a lack of holistic service understanding and missing communication lead to frustration.

We want to change that! In our Elective Module “Designers apply!”, we will develop a new application process and pitch it to the SSC and International Office. This application should be based on the needs & constraints of the applicants.

After the redesign, the application process should be as simple, intuitive and elegant as possible—and ‘mobile only’. With the experience gained from your own application, we will restructure the process using methods and tools such as shadowing, service blueprints and customer journey maps.

Die Bewerbung an einer Hochschule ist oft recht schwerfällig und frustrierend. Warum eigentlich? Veraltete Software, komplexe rechtliche Rahmen, fehlendes ganzheitliches Service-Verständnis und Mangel an Kommunikation führen zu Frustration.

Das wollen wir ändern! Im Wahlmodul „Designers apply!“ werden wir einen neuen Bewerbungsprozess entwickeln und beim SSC und International Office pitchen. Diese neue Bewerbung soll sich an den „Needs & constraints“ der Bewerber:innen orientieren.

Nach dem Redesign soll der Bewerbungsprozess so einfach, intuitiv und elegant wie möglich sein – und „mobile only“. Mit den Erfahrungen aus Ihrer eigenen Bewerbung werden wir den Prozess mit Hilfe von Methoden und Tools wie Shadowing, Service Blueprints und Customer Journey Maps neu strukturieren.
