EM Biophilic Design - Creating new ideas to connect people & nature
Elective Module 3d Object and Space

nur für Incom-Mitglieder

Biophilic design is an approach in architecture and interior design that aims to promote the relationship between humans and the natural environment. It includes the use of natural materials, creation of green spaces, integration of natural light and views, and the creation of soundscapes and water features. Biophilic design can have positive effects on well-being, productivity, creativity, and health. It can be used in various settings such as office buildings, schools, hospitals, hotels, and homes.

Biophilic design can also play an important role in product design. By integrating natural materials, forms, and patterns into products, a connection to nature can be established and a positive effect on users can be achieved. Products that follow biophilic design principles can help reduce stress, increase well-being, and have a calming effect. Some examples of products with biophilic design elements are plant containers, furniture made of wood or stone, textiles with natural patterns and colors, as well as lighting that mimics natural daylight.

In this module, new approaches and ideas are developed and designed around this exciting design topic.
