A Workshop on the power of narration, identity, and book production through creative writing, storytelling, visual practice and book binding.

In this expertise, you’ll create a small booklet that’s about autobiographical experience – told through the lens of a pop-cultural storytelling figure such as a witch, drag queen/king, trickster, vampire, pirate, or any other wild, magical, weird, or iconic character you like.

Each participant will develop a fictional character and guide this character through a journey of transformation. You’ll design your own version of the Hero's / Heroine's Journey and turn one of ist many stages into a mini-book that captures it in words and images.

No prior creative writing or book binding experience required – just curiosity, imagination, and a sharpened pen!
